Meet Joe Hallas
Welcome to Hallas Construction LLC, your trusted partner for quality construction in the Northwoods of Wisconsin! I’m Joe Hallas, the proud owner and a licensed and insured general contractor dedicated to serving the Eagle River area and beyond.
With over 10 years of building experience, my journey in construction began in high school when I discovered my passion for the trade through the Rhinelander High School Building Trades class. That experience ignited a love for building that has guided my career ever since.
To further my skills, I completed a carpenter's apprenticeship through Nicolet College, where I earned my journeyman carpenter certificate. This training equipped me with the knowledge and expertise to tackle a wide range of projects, from custom homes to home renovations, with confidence and precision.
After moving back to the Northwoods from North Carolina, I decided to take the plunge and open my own business, allowing me to bring my vision of quality construction to life.
I live in Sugar Camp with my fiancée and our two rescue dogs, and I’m deeply committed to my community. I believe in being a reliable partner for homeowners, showing up when it matters most to help turn their visions into reality. My approach to construction is rooted in integrity; I always strive to do things the right way the first time, ensuring that my work stands the test of time and doesn’t need to be redone in just a few years.
When I’m not busy with projects, I enjoy practicing jiu-jitsu at Leadership Academy in Minocqua, where I develop discipline and focus—qualities that I bring to every job I undertake.
